Animal farming has many benefits you can take from this. There the items you get from animals like killing cows for raw beef and leather, using shears to get wool from sheep, having chickens for eggs and meat, and lastly pig for some amazing pork chops. There is also another great benefit that I like the most about having an animal farm and that's the experience points. This is a great way to get enchantments for your tools and armor. This is by far in my opinion to best way to get experience points fast and easily, right next to finding an mob spawner and making an mob grinder out of it.
